Prepares his/her clinic on daily basis ensuring it is ready to receive both Doctor and Patients.

Clinic Preparation includes

- Checking of all patients’ files for completeness including the availability of test results.

- Checking that required equipment/ supplies ara available and in working order.

To provide Orientation to new Doctors on FMC OPD specific issues including orders and charge slips and any other paper work applicable to their patient’s needs.

Responsible for the checking of all requests, invoices, progress notes to ensure they are correctly completed with doctor’s codes, stamps, etc.

Responsible for collecting and accurately documenting clinical data relevant to the patients/ doctors needs e.g. vital signs.

Assist the doctor with the examination of the patient and any special procedures to be carried out.

Ensures Patients Services are made aware of any change to the doctors schedule e.g. Annual leave etc.

At the end of the clinic session id responsible for the checking that all files ( Hard copy or electronic) are complete with results, doctor’s notes, dates and signatures. File Must Not leave the department until they are complete.
