Design and Release Engineer: Aug, 2015 – Aug, 2017

•Responsible for designed, developed, and launch support layouts review to implement wire installation supports, product development, design release and problem solving team during 777-9X design development for aft fuselage section 46 & 47 Lower Lobe. The extensive coordination with all interfacing groups, process team, manufacturing and supplier MHI for smooth design release of assemblies and detail components.

•Project management responsibility includes; designed, developed, CAD modeling, GDT drawings, packaging and released from concept layout until final drawing releases of wire harness support assemblies and installations. Working with supplier MHI for project cost management and till final installation at launch, part approval process for aft fuselage section 46 & 47 Lower Lobe of 777-9X airplane.

•Managing interfaces between partners for detection, tracking and resolution of interferences, engaging in multi-partner design reviews using Digital Mock-up and IVT.

•Experience working with suppliers, tooling, and project cost management and final installation during launch of airplane, part approval process.

•Track the floor beam related ETAC events and managed based on release due dates.

Zodiac Aerospace US seats Gainesville, TX

Design and Release Engineer June, 2014 – Aug, 2015

•Project management responsibility includes; designed, developed, CAD modeling, GDT drawings, packaging and release from concept layout, final drawing releases and during launch of airplane seats. Working with tooling group for tooling design, project cost management and till final installation at launch, part approval process in Z300 seats.

•Responsible for design, packaging & development of plastic and sheet metal parts using robust design strategies for parameters and tolerance design making lean use of resources.

•Prepared structural sub-assemblies generate Bill of Material (BOM) and 2-D drawings and submit completed package to stress, manufacture, material, and project engineer for approval and release in Catia V5, Smarteam and PDM. Working with supplier, tooling, machining, project cost management and final installation during launch Seat models, part approval process for airplanes.

•Oversee/assist in the production of ECNs (Engineering Change Notices). Act as mediator/liaison during development engineering within engineering/between engineering and customer/supplier to prevent and/or solve any engineering issues that may arise.

•Worked closely with the affected groups: stress, materials and processing, manufacturing and certification engineers and committed to deliver quality, light weight aircraft seats while maintaining schedule and budget.

Product Design Engineer Nov, 2013 – May, 2014

•Project management responsibility includes; designed, developed, CAD modeling, GD&T drawings, packaging and release from concept layout, final drawing releases and during launch of glove box, fuse box under hood component, seating components, sub-assemblies, brackets, joining links, door panel of Honda Odyssey.

•Working with supplier Automatic Spring Products for tooling design, project cost management and till final installation at launch, part approval process in Honda Odyssey.

•Acted as liaison between engineering and plant to accomplish the launch of new Car Line.

•Coordinated with stress, manufacturing, material & processing engineers and released in Catia V5 and Teamcenter.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes Everett, WA

Structural & Payload Design Engineer: Jul, 2006– Oct, 2013

•Worked on Product Cost Improvement Program for 777 series aircraft which included design improvement, material change, and process change, this results saving shop time and manufacturing time on various wing and body components.

•Developed detail work statements including hours estimate for committed changes according to new requirements for 777 programs.

•Design and development of sheet metal and machined structural components including latch pin fitting, serrated plates and system Brackets. Preparing assembly and installation layouts and detail drawings.

•Worked with supplier, tooling, machining, project cost management and final installation during launch of airplane, part approval process for 777 airplane.

•Intensive coordination with stress analysis group, manufacturing, material technology and a supplier based groups and release engineering product data in electronic data sets like PDM & ENOVIA or drawings to include layouts, three-dimensional models, engineering drawings, and parts lists.

Sandvik Mining and Construction Burlington, ON

Design and Release Engineer May, 2002-June, 2006

•Designed and packaged the exhaust system assembly, routed exhaust pipe in the engine compartment and under floor such as brackets, hangers, heat shields and also worked for seating components, sub-assemblies, brackets, joining links.

•Evaluating design, die and manufacturing standards including assembly process.

•Released all levels of CAD Drawing specifications to corporate design database using GD&T (ANSI Y 14.5).

•Performing the initial finite element analysis and design space analysis to predict the structural stiffness issues early in the design stage.

•Member of Design Failure Mode and Effective Analysis (DFMEA) team and experience of Design Verification Plan & Reports (DVP&R).
