Projects West Delta Deep Marine “WDDM” development projects in Mediterranean Sea.

Achievements Worked as Night Drilling Supervisor on “Mina Da” well which was the first Horizontal Subsea well in Mediterranean Sea and was drilled with 10 days ahead and saved 41% of planned AFE.

Work Experience

RASHPETCO / SHELL

06.2010 – Present

Currently working in Rashpetco JV Shell – Egypt in West Delta Deep Marine (250 – 1500m water depth) in Mediterranean Sea in vertical, deviated, and horizontal wells using Semi-Submersible rigs (Diamond offshore-Ocean Endeavor, Transocean-Amirante and Saipem-Scarabeo-6). The system allowed me to work as:

Drilling Operations & Wells Engineer, WellSite Drilling Engineer & Night Drilling Supervisor.

Night Drilling Supervisor

Ensure safe execution and delivery of well construction and intervention activity in line with HSE, company policy and procedures.

Execute program and manage operations reporting to senior drilling supervisor.

Review operations with service partners ensuring required tools and personal.

Prepare daily drilling report, forecast and daily operations instructions.

Well Control supervision and operations in gas wells as required.

Supervise night operations on Workover and Completion wells both open and cased hole gravel pack, upper completion and running horizontal X-mass tree.

Familiar with water based, oil based muds and completion fluids.

Offshore Drilling Engineer

Assists and deputises for Drilling Supervisor in managing rig operations.

Participates in the rig safety management system including safety behavioural programme, risk assessments, pre-tour meetings, toolbox talks and safety meetings.

Prepares daily morning reports, casing tallies, cement calculations, hydraulics and other documents/spreadsheets as required.

Ensures familiarity with the well objectives and the detailed drilling programme.

Follow upcoming requirements for personnel, bulks and equipment.

Maintain daily records of operational bit revolutions, hours on bit, drilling jars, mud-motors, RSS, MWD/LWD tools, under-reamers and other downhole tools.

Prepares section summaries and key learnings for inclusion in the EOWR.

Assists the Logistics Co-Ordinator by compiling daily operations lookahead.

Cost monitoring, Technical and Performance reporting.

Drilling Operations & Wells Engineer

Discuss and challenge geotechnical data with geologists and geophysicist.

Define trajectories and architecture of the wells together with budget and planning.

Plan and execute well design and write drilling programs.

Develop new techniques like “Jetting Conductor” and “Under-Reaming”.

Call out required equipment and services.

Follow up on Service partner Non-conformance reports raised.

Cost tracking and compares between planned “AFE” and actual operations.

Update Time-Depth curve, performance and NPT on a daily basis.

Make and develop EOWR (End Of Well Report).

Assist in producing scope of works connected to all the services required by drilling department and Carrying out required technical evaluation.

HELLENIC PETROLEUM

06.2009 – 06.2010

Worked for Hellenic Petroleum as Drilling Engineer in the Western Desert (Obayed field) exploratory wells with Land rig (EDC 59).

Assist and deputise for Drilling Supervisor in managing rig operations. Prepare daily morning reports, casing tallies, cement calculations, hydraulics and other spreadsheets as required.
