Ensure plant manufacturing and inspection operations are performed in compliance with defined Quality Procedures - TSLI’s, Quality Plans, internal procedures (Control Plans/SOP’s/Works Instructions.
Identify when corrective action is required and take appropriate action.
On a daily basis as directed by the QC Manager/Supervisor provide detailed reports on process conformance, reject rates, non-standard operating procedures.
Real time operational control/trouble shooting for critical processes (Phosphating, Bead Blasting, MPI)
Provide technical support as required throughout the manufacturing units.
Conduct improvement trials
Compile quality and management reports when required.
Train, as required, production operators on new thread types or gauging systems or process operations.
Act as a contact point for third party inspectors.
Participate in API, VAM Services and LRQA audits.
