I was brought in on a temporary basis to train and supervise a crew of multicraft 3-6 maintenance mechanics in duties from mechanical,hydraulic,welding,precision machine synchronization,Plc diagnosis and industrial painting .Preventative maintenance on green and dry hammermills,conveyors,bucket elevators,single pass dryer drums,furnaces,laidig system,chipper and pellet mills as well as installing a Maintimizer program which put the company in place to have a preventative maintenance program.Diagnosis of Plc (Programmable Logic Controller) for such as mill not running due to a main door or feed chute malfunction or an over amp on the drive motors.Replacement of dual drive 480 volt 600hp motors and tracking of cog belt for proper seating of belt while having a load applied to die and rollers.Developed an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for several different tasks including cog belt replacement and tracking, Vbelt replacement,the proper way to set a die using a dial indicator .The proper way to set rollers and the distance from the die using feeler gauges to get the longest operating time without unnecessary wear and tear and the most production out of each roller before being replaced.

I was able to secure a maintenance contract for the company with German Pellets Llc at the Port of Port Arthur location because of my and my coworkers diligence and hardwork on a newly developed reclaimer system for their silos .We were able to modify a chain driven auger and add another smaller auger to run in front of the larger auger to break down the load to be reclaimed (which was run hydraulically and was failing due to the weight of material) to make the system fully operational without the frequent stopping and starting of before.
