Honor Officer, United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD 2013 – Present

- Led national institution’s central mission to train 4,500 future Navy and Marine Corps leaders’ development of ethics, morals, integrity and character, adapting time-honored ideas regarding leadership and accountability to meet today’s challenges.

- Trained and mentored the 180 member Brigade Honor Organization. Improved processing of offenses and guided the staff in administering USNA’s Honor Program.

- Established the Assistant Reactor Officer position due to in-depth technical knowledge of nuclear engineering, operations, and maintenance. Led an overwhelmed department and command to successfully complete an overdue $260 million maintenance period.

- Revived a failing 400 person department – developed and implemented aggressive internal corrective action plan. After four months of intensive effort, successfully completed three intensive reactor examinations with improving trends in all areas.

- Recognized and solved a critical personnel and manning crisis – designed, oversaw, and executed a detailed training and qualification program for an intricate testing phase.

- Extensive experience and understanding of integrated plant operations and maintenance environment – supervised all complex evolutions, testing, and drills to ensure continued safe operation and maintenance of two nuclear power plants.

Reactor Electrical Assistant, USS JOHN C. STENNIS 2005 – 2007

- Led, trained and managed five divisions of 5 officers, 60 nuclear trained electricians and 50 electronic technicians in the operation, maintenance, repair, and quality assurance of reactor support electrical, control and safety systems.

- Instrumental oversight during outstanding performance of an intensive inspection, comprehensive maintenance assessment, and two reactor safeguards examinations.

- Qualified Nuclear Engineer by Naval Reactors (Department of Energy), supervised the most complex plant evolutions and trained peers on all aspects of plant operations.
