Role: Software Engineer at Syntel Ltd (2012-2015)

• Collaborated and developed the application using C# in Microsoft visual studio 2013, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap and Node Js and SQL server 2008 R2 on windows IIS using agile methodology. It has an n-tier architecture which includes facades, database level, business logic and front end. Understanding requirements, Design, implementation and production were part of my role. For version control we used Tortoise SVN. It is a team of 20 developers with team leader and a software architect. The project is for a banking and finance company. It is a campaign management portal which was explicitly used by the marketing managers to approve and authenticate various card programs.

• Modified and developed the application using c#, Html5, CSS and SQL (queries, triggers, T-SQL, Procedures and Functions).

• Developed a web application in VB.NET using Microsoft access as database and Windows IIS. Gathering requirements from stakeholders, design, coding and production were part of my role. Macros were developed to automate few update processes in the database. It is a web application for project managers to generate ID’s and access control for employees under them for an insurance client.

• Movie Recommendation using users input:

Developed a Python program to display the movie names according to the input (movie, parameters (no of movies to be displayed to be watched in future)). Developed map reduce method, we hoisted the data on Linux in AWS, generated and used the nodes from there and ran the program in Hadoop environment.

Android mentoring application:

• Developed prototypes and took various user stories to develop and implement an application. Visual appeal, Cognitive usability and ease of navigation were analyzed and developed the application according to them.

Political prediction using voters data :

• Developed using java servlets, JSP for front-end and MYSQL as database wrote procedures, functions and views using voters data. We cleaned and analyzed the core data (Mekclenberg county voter data) for some conclusions in form of graph representations and pie charts. Library Management Application:

• Designed and developed using java servlets, JSP s, CSS, Bootstrap developed front end and backend operations and MYSQL for database. It is an application to add new users of library and for the new users to access the database to check which books are available and which ones are in circulation. Random Forest rules for distributed action rules discovery:

• Using ARoGs and LERS to develop java program to develop an action list of rules to apply on huge datasets of the Mammographic Mass Dataset and the Car Evaluation Dataset and also support and confidence is calculated. A graphical interface was also developed to showcase the rules set. EDUCATION:
