My experience as a 7 year Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist for Walgreens, then staff and floater Pharmacist for Giant Eagle has enabled me to grow and acquire many talents associated with today’s business world such as leading a team in the pharmacy. I have successfully accomplished years of busy flu shots and daily Zostavax injections, as well as diabetes and high blood pressure screenings. I am trained in both Diabetes and Lipids to do HBA1C and Cholesterol screenings, as well as being a lab director for CLIA so that I may train other Pharmacists to do the same. My willingness to change geographical locations has enabled me to open myself to many new opportunities that others may not have had as a new graduate. I have been active with NEOUCOP as a pharmacy school preceptor and also Cuyahoga Community College’s Pharmacy Technician program as a preceptor.

2004-2012: Pharmacy Manager, Walgreens Co. Managed for 6 of the 7 years, locations include: Milwaukee, WI (busy, non-24 hour, inner city), Salem, OH, Cuyahoga Falls, OH (busy, 24 hour). Responsibilities include: pharmacy and OTC business as well as counseling patients and immunizing patients on a walk-in basis, inventory control, patient education, hiring and training of all technician staff.
