Architected and developed warehousing pipeline to consume data of our 250,000 SMEs from 12 different platforms, and store it in centralized RedShift DB.

Implemented a SQS-based product detection mod-

ule to analyze business updates from SMEs for prod- ucts, extract their details from various e-commerce sites and push targeted ads with best prices.

Music Recommendation Engine in PySpark

Developed a music recommendation engine using Col- laborative Filtering algorithm (PySpark MLLib) on Au- dioScrobbler last.fm database, containing the play count of artists for each user. Cross-validated the model on various hyper-parameters: rank, lambda

Sentiment Analysis with Deep Learning

Architected an LSTM and RNN-based sentiment clas-

sification model for Amazon product reviews, in col- laboration with Unilever. LSTM model outperformed

RNN achieving an accuracy of 92% for binary (0-1)

and 78% for multi (1-5) class.

Visualizing Emotion Flow in a Movie

Implemented a supervised model to predict the emo- tion in each scene by using the subtitles. The flow of emotions was visualized on a timeline, which de- picted the rise and fall of different emotions. (Github Link) Side Project Feb 2016 – Apr 2016
