Site Manager for company providing subcontracting services to Horizon Industries for inventory and control of IT assets for the Department of Homeland Security acting as Quality Manager for the contract.

After installing new quality system, plant had a 50% reduction in complaints in 1st quarter and a 75% reduction in

Baghdad, Iraq (LOGCAP III) ● 2009–2010

Fire and emergency services contract providing fire fighting and fire protection services throughout all of Iraq.

Quality Manager

Volunteered to put together a quality management system for fire services in Iraq after the company received quality complaints after poor Operational Readiness Inspection scores.

After development of quality system, inspection scores were raised an average of 10% across 26 sites. Cycle of

inspections went from every three months to annually.

Reviewed quality data off 14 Nissei and Aoki stretch-blow molding machines and 1 Sidel reheat and blowing machine. Reviewed production schedules to establish workflow. Maintained incoming raw-materials data for product batch control and compliance certification. Directed plant complaint system by interfacing with customers, sales team, and department managers to identify problems and execute corrective actions to customers’ satisfaction.

Total Quality Manager: Interfaced with clients to identify problem areas, then partnered with Product Development team to generate custom solutions by experimenting with different inks and substrates.
