Position was through the Atlanta Chapter of IEC (Independent Electrical Contractors). In this role as an electrical apprentice my duties included the following:
Assisting Journeyman Electrician and Master Electrician in the installation and maintenance of district electrical systems including lighting systems power distribution systems, switches, electrical receptacles, conduits, and cables including but not limited to setting anchors and drilling holes for the electrical system.
Interpret wiring diagrams and exposure to blueprints and schematics.
Digging conduit trenches to place conduits.
Exposure to the use of forklifts and hand and power tools.
Worked overtime on both a scheduled and an emergency basis to meet project deadlines with supervisor approval.
Perform other duties as assigned.
