PROJECTS AND DISSERTATION

1.Final dissertation in post-graduation was done under the topic “Design and analysis of wind barriers for Gateway plaza in UK”. A special wind barrier was designed exclusively for the building called Gateway Plaza which is situated in the windy region. The barriers are designed using ‘PTC Creo’ software and analyzed by Finite Element Analysis method using ‘ABAQUS’ and Computational Fluid Dynamics by ‘ANSYS’ and ‘SolidWorks’.

2.Final project in bachelor’s degree was about “Investigation of Micro machining parameters”. The tools and power used for the micro drilling process was closely analyzed and efficient combination for respective size of holes in micro-drilling was determined.

3.As a mini project, prototype of “Kinematic Moving Machine” was designed and fabricated by using Aluminum with the help of machining process such as drilling, shaping, sawing and surface grinding.

4.For a mini project under the Advanced Vibrations and Acoustics Module, the sound level measurements in the local surroundings such as railway station, highway junction and university building were noted using sound level meter and report was generated to compare the noise levels between indoor and outdoor locations.

Design and Analysis.

Successfully designed an efficient carrier handler for given conditions and analyzed on its strength and flexibility using PTC Creo as a part of the CAD module in post-graduation.

Coursework in stress analysis of a pressure vessel was done by Finite element analysis method using ABAQUS software in post-graduation. Analysis on the introduction of internal and external crack on the vessel were also performed and the limitations of the vessel was identified.

Report was produced on improving the design of the case study product (Paint Sprayer) along with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) as a part of the ‘Competitive Design for Manufacturing’ module.

As a part of Equipment Engineering and Design module, solution for an unloading circuit of a hydraulic system which lost its capability to hold curing pressure was provided through a report along with the causes of the problem.

Under the same module, suggestions for the maintenance of a plant which consists of wheeled shovel, inclined conveyor, elevator, scrap chain conveyor, hoppers, extract conveyor, collection conveyor, machine feed conveyor, machine feed hopper, mixer andextruder were proposed through presentation and report.

Certified in Mechanical CADD on July 2010 and Pro/E on July 2012 by CADD Centre.

Communication

Collaborated with international students from countries like Turkey, Libya, Malaysia and China as a part of the group project in post-graduation.

Working in customer service as part-time in supermarket by dealing with the complaints, listening to their queries and responding appropriately to ensure good relationship with customers.
