I have 30 years of operations management experience in the financial and hospitality service industry. On Wall Street, as the Director of Operations, my group operated independently from the trading floor of the NYSE, therefore it was my duty to maintain the operations of the facility such as, managing the support staff, the technology innovations, and providing reports to the legal and compliance teams. My primary responsibilities included management of the staff for trade processing, and accounts reconciliation. Along with my daily responsibilities, I was the client relations representative for the global sales team at the NYSE. Annually I was on the college talent recruiting committee and the representative for industry initiatives. As a member of the SIFMA committee, I was involved with technology developments, implementation, and compliance issues for the overall financial industry. I have demonstrated my ability to perform at a very high level during volatile events such as the crash of 87, 9/11, the great recession of 2008. My management focus is to implement technology, or create process improvements to increase efficiency, and reduction of cost.

In addition to my Wall Street career, I have over 15 years of experience in the hospitality management industry. As the assistant operations manager for Aramark at Giants and Shea stadium, I was responsible for processing and reconciling the daily financial reports. I was also one of the supervisors for the operations of the concessions department. As the supervisor, my focus was to insure all concession stands throughout the stadium were cleaned and set up properly before and after the operations of any events. I would coach and council all staff weekly to execute the proper protocols necessary to meet the Department of Health standards. Currently I am the assistant general manager at the Central Park Zoo café. I am responsible for the management of the daily operations, financial accounting, and inventory management. Due to the fact the cafe is located inside Central Park and next to the zoo; it is my top priority is to insure the cleanliness of the cafe exceeds the requirements of the Department of Health requirements. This is necessary to provide an additional level of prevention for pest control. I am also an independent consultant for Ridgewells Catering as the dispatch/inventory manager for special events, including the annual US Open (PGA) tournament, and the NFL Superbowl.

In addition to my financial and hospitality management background, I have been an agent for Century 21 in the Central New Jersey, Princeton marketplace for the past 8 years. My experience includes marketing and promoting residential and commercial sales.

As demonstrated by my work history, I am able to utilize my management skills in any work environment. I am very flexible and can multitask to insure the proper execution of my staff and their assigned responsibilities.

Wildlife Conservation Society 2015 to 2017

Assistant General Manager

My responsibility is the proper operations of the Dancing Crane Cafe located at the Central Park Zoo. Throughout the year, I manage a staff of 20 to 60. My primary focus is the constant and consistent cleanliness of the facility. During my first full year, an emphasis was placed on improving the efficiencies of the operation, and standardizing the maintenance procedures. The results was maintaining an A rating for all four Board of Health inspections, and a 10% increase in revenue. Along with the management of the daily operations, I am responsible for the inventory management, and the financial reconciliation of revenue and costs. Continuous communications with human resource is necessary for the proper documentation and discipline of the staff. Utilizing the prime location of the cafe and zoo, I am constantly coaching the staff to promote the image and efforts of the organization.

Morgan Stanley Client Relations Program

Feedback and Comments

During my time at the NYSE I created a client relations program for Morgan Stanley. I would provide a private escort to our clients to enhance the firm’s image and promote our advisor’s relationships. In 2011 I had entertained over 350 request escorting over 2500 guests.

87% of the visiting clients responded with a more favorable impression of Morgan Stanley and Wall Street after their visit.

176 of the clients or financial advisors added new accounts or increased their asset base after the presentation.

24 of the clients increased their accounts by over $1 million

33 of the clients increased their accounts up to $1 million.

Feedback comments:

“I am convinced it is one of the best tools for building relationships. The vast majority of the marketing/sales material that the firm spends is worth little compared to this program. This experience produces “immeasurable” good will.”

“Every client that has gone on this tour is blown away…They cannot stop talking about it, all clients we have sent, have added more assets, and have a better/stronger relationship with their MSSB Financial Advisor.”

“My client is very sophisticated and was blown away by David’s knowledge and professionalism. Client could not stop raving…David deserves our respect for going WAY beyond. He is one of our most valuable assets.”

“David is an amazing ambassador for Morgan Stanley. His expertise and inspirational speaking reached me in a way unlike anyone has. He knows how to talk to young people.”

“David is extremely inspiring and definitely drives revenue for the firm through his ability to explain the market opportunities and the importance of investing.”

“Our $75 million client and children loved their trip. Both kids are now interested in business. David did not do a tour…he actually changed people’s lives forever. He is one of Morgan’s strongest assets.”

“David was very inspirational, after his speech you want to go and move mountains.”

“This tour has directly led to new accounts and increased assets. I have received dozens of emails thanking us for providing it. I cannot tell you how impact this has been to developing new business and relationships.”
