Co-owned and managed a national promotional and printing franchise; Bradbury Promotional Printing, LLC. As general manager, responsibilities included management of client lists (Act software and Outlook), all advertising of company including outdoor/indoor signs, brochures, promotional flyers, specials and other print advertising, also facebook promotions, trade show scheduling, prep, graphics and set up of booth and handouts or draw to attract new clients. “brainstorming sessions” for new-to-market product focus, sales sample kits and sales promotions quarterly for sales team. Managed office organization, communication processes for production between staff, client order entry, quotes, production and shipping tracking, invoicing, using franchise software plus QuickBooks. Responsible for tax returns and prep. Responsible for vendor goods selection, credit applications, vendor purchase orders, payables, hiring, training of sales and office staff, proofing client supplied or custom imprints and quality control of end product. Conducted client satisfaction follow- up calls and appreciation letters. Bradbury Promotional Printing powered by Proforma, is a high ranking national, independently owned and operated franchise. 2014- 2017

Owned and managed “Fun Stuff To Logo” a local marketing product showroom and retail gift store in Eliot, Maine. located at the Shipyard Brew Commons Mall. I worked closely with clients’ marketing managers and schools of all sizes advising branding and marketing budget options with full service in house decoration services which included custom logo design services, screen printing, embroidery, trade show booth products, printing brochures, business cards,etc. Mail services/fulfillment was specialty. Gift retail shop provided local schools/colleges team wear apparel gifts, and seasonal holiday gifts, with personalization on site, screened or embroidered on supplied or purchased blank goods. Authorized and approved Under Armour and Nike, Adidas distributors and decorators.

2012- 2016

Co-owner and Chief Creative Editor of local Seacoast Travel Magazine, “Fun Stuff To Do - On the Seacoast.” Responsible for all written content and organization of content for this unique magazine - an original idea in the way the content is organized, unlike the Chamber of Commerce or news publications. I managed all advertisements, was Liaison for Sales team/ clients/graphics team. Responsible for invoicing, collections, print proofing, client satisfaction, graphic layout and print manager for this seasonal publication for 5 editions. Covered territory from York ME to Newburyport, Ma. Distribution 50,000 copies.

1988- 1998

M/A-Com, a Tyco owned company, Lowell, Ma., and Chelmsford Ma. Roles included Corporate Communications Manager, Process Manager, Graphics and Publications Manager. This is an international semiconductor manufacturer. Started out as a Temp employee, served as Graphics Assistant Manager. Promoted after one year for making drastic improvements by streamlining process of creating engineering data sheets. Proficient in both PC and Mac programs and converting files between programs and platforms across departments to improve communication and lower labor costs. Worked closely with I.T. Department, Events Manager, PR and outside Ad Agencies for creation and distribution of marketing collateral internationally. Created PowerPoint presentations for CEO and General Managers: gave presentations on improving process/costs and reviewed new technologies in printing and doc sharing. Tasked with creating the first Web presence for M/A-Com Inc. Published 1500 page handbooks for engineers and converted CAD drawings to Adobe Illustrator line drawings, then pioneered the process and cut costs over $580,000 per year for printing costs.

1984- 1988

Breakfast and lunch restaurant owner and manager, head waitress and chef. Seating capacity of 72. Retro 50’s diner. Responsible for remodeling, licenses and inspections, food vendor selection, menu creation, advertising, hiring and retaining staff, opening and closing 6 days a week. Menu Specialties were home made baked goods, a unique Waffle bar, authentic Irish corned beef hash, and the best tasting coffee and home fries for miles! Other Accomplishments

Volunteer work for Eliot United Methodist church and The Eliot Lions Club, managing, organizing, promoting and cooking quarterly community “restaurant style” various seasonal community outreach “suppers”, as well as supervising servers, bus persons and cleaning crew. Also training servers, mapping, booth application creation and processing, coordination donations from supporting businesses supervising special events such as Flea Market for the Lions Club (150 booth attendance and live music, 12 food vendors) as well as member of the Eliot Festival Committee, End 68 Hours Hunger - with similar fund-raisers for public outreach and non-profit benefits.
