Assigned to support and maintain the Nortel/Avaya CS 2100/SL 100 Digital Telephone Switching System for Banner Health. Areas of responsibility include switch translations/routing, operational measurements, diagnostic troubleshooting and VoIP design and implementation.
Successfully lead the design, implementation and deployment of a SIP file structure for the Polycom VVX series telephone sets; now numbering more than 10,000 end users.
Managed the seamless conversion of a 1000 line hospital from a Nortel VoIP (UNIStim protocol) telephony system to an Avaya SIP telephony system.
Lead the implementation of telephone number prefix changes at 3 major hospitals. Changes in approximately 140,000 tuples (database records) and 13,300 telephone numbers were made.

SL 100 Telephone Switch Technician, 1997 - 1999
Assigned to support and maintain the Nortel Meridian SL 100 Digital Telephone Switch and Octel 350 Voicemail system for Samaritan Health System (now known as Banner Health). Areas of responsibility included switch translations/routing, operational measurements and diagnostic troubleshooting.
Integral part in the integration of three Nortel Meridian 1 switches, via PRI trunking, to the Nortel Meridian SL 100.
Designed an implementation guide entitled ‘Preset Conference to Die For’ that enabled the Preset Conference capabilities of the SL-100 switch to be used to blast dial users and play a prerecorded alert message; presented at the Insight 100 conference, spring of 1998.
