eTA is an all-inclusive Electronic Time and Attendance system. It is currently being utilized by Tech Ops, Material Services, Chelsea and Airport Services. The initial deployment was June 2001 and is currently in all domestic stations. eTA is constructed as an airline specific application. It currently interfaces with the Payroll System. Qualifications are jobs the employee has training and/or experience to work as determined by their management staff. Employee qualifications are part of the day trade application, shift bid application, overtime application, Staff Manager and drive operational manpower sheets. Key features include an employee portal for self-service options such as day and shift trades, signing up for overtime and reviewing timecards, schedules and accruals. There is also a web based administrative portal that allows for complete system management. Employee punches are accepted via a biometric clocking system to prevent fraudulent and costly “Buddy Swiping”. eTA also tracks attendance points, Family Medical Leave usage, vacation accruals and usage and sick time hours. Employee web portal to manage employee crew sheets and balances while applying all applicable business (Union) rules for processing pay transactions to the Payroll System. Responsibilities:
