Role: Senior Software Tester
Description: Primary objective of the project is to build an application which consists data of recipients and providers case management. This involves Personal, Health and Financial data management of both the Recipient and Providers providing / receiving services by the California Department of Social Services.
Role Description: Highlighted below are my current roles and responsibilities in the project.
Actively participate in Requirement Gathering Meeting with the Business Analyst Team and Client Representatives. Identify business gaps in the requirement and discuss them with the Client and Business Analyst prior to starting the Testing Cycle.
Prepare Requirement Traceability matrix and Test Plan for each requirement.
Lead the testing activity for each release. This includes
oAssignment of tasks to team members including myself.
oProvide a requirement walkthrough to the Test team.
oReview Test Cases/Test Scripts written by Team members.
oEnsure all possible test scenarios are covered.
oSchedule and conduct daily status meeting with the team.
oSchedule weekly meeting with Client to go over the Test Execution status, Defect Management process for the Current Release and also send weekly status Report.
oWeekly meeting with the Development Team as part of the Defect Management process.
oProvide Test sign off at the end of each release.

Description: Primary objective of the project was to test the implementation of Guidewire framework for the QBE Insurance web application. Guidewire ClaimCenter is used to keep track of all required claims-related financial data. Mphasis QA team involved in preparation and execution of smoke, system and regression test cases.
Role Description: Below are my roles and responsibilities in this project.
Attended Training of Guidewire ClaimCenter provided by Client and was part of this project from the beginning.
Actively participated in Test Scenario and test script writing.
Conducted Daily status call with the Onsite representative at the client End.
Being a part of the pilot project, I got the opportunity to provide Knowledge Transfer and Training to all the new members who on boarded the Team.
Involved in Test execution.
Responsible for the Defect Management Process. Hence had to interact with the Development Team on a daily basis to ensure the defect fix is successful and defect is verified.
Used HP QC for Test Plan and Test Execution.
Used SQL Server to fetch data for all Test Scenarios prior to Test Execution.

Description: Primary objective of the project was to build a common platform, which consists of dynamic and static web pages giving detailed information on capital market components like Equities, Bonds, Funds, Countries, Companies, Currencies, News, etc. There are two applications (Eikon and Eikon for Wealth Management) being built, keeping the common platform as the base. My role within this project is to handle the testing activities for the NEWS component of both the applications.
Role Description: Below are my roles and responsibilities in this project.
In this project, I was the Owner/Point of Contact for the News component of Eikon application from the Testing Team.
Actively participated in testing the NEWS section of the application – Functional and Nonfunctional testing. This involved preparation of Test Scenarios and Test Cases, Test Execution and Testing the Live Streaming component for News.
Participated in the Daily status call with the Client at Thomson Reuters – News.
Participated in test execution of Eikon Wealth Management components.
Assisted the team with Test data setup and data mining using SQL queries on SQL Server. I was the Point of Contact for all Data mining requests within the Test Team.

FESCo (Fidelity Employer Services Company) is a record-keeper of retirement benefits for many major US companies. It maintains an in-house system that helps the employees of these companies to track their benefit information. The business objective of the project is to have a centralized administration system that will cater to the needs of various end clients of FESCo. Each client’s Defined Benefit plan has some unique features that would require client-specific modifications to be done to the system and implemented in production.
The Corporate Actions QA team is involved in Testing of various applications constituting the in-house system based on the change requests of the clients of FESCo.
Responsibilities:
• Analyzing the Requirements and understanding the plan rules for each client
• Test Planning, Scenario creation and Setting up the test Environments.
