Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for all major and minor purchases of our project handling team.

Floating enquires and contact right vendors / suppliers / distributors / OEM as per the client / project requirement.

A thorough analysis of price quotes, quality, delivery considerations, and test reports/certificates, if any, of each vendor / supplier / distributor against client specifications prior to choosing a vendor with whom to do business.

Perform supplier evaluations and recommend suppliers to fill purchase orders based on technical acceptability, integrity, reputation and price competitiveness.

Processing Purchase Requisition as per Company Policies and Procedures.

Frequent Interaction with the supplier to expedite delivery, discrepancies and short quantities and lead time improvement.

Evaluate vendor performance for ensuring adherence to predefined specifications & supply of quality material

Attend material inspections when materials are delivered to the site to verify the quality of materials and the inclusion of material certificates.

Controlling and coordinating of ordered materials through follow-up calls until it received in our ends.

Sound knowledge of the approved materials list and handling of EPC Oil and Gas, MEP & PPE items. I have an excellent working relationship with our vendors. Challenges:

Handling procurement / purchase operations with key focus on bottom line profitability

On- time delivery of orders within client budget + best quality

On-time receipt of payments from each Client.

Achievements:

Awarded with spot appreciation to procure the quality materials at the right cost with minimum inventory for the projects of BOROGUE, ZIRKU ISLAND, MIRFA IWPP, CBDC - (2014-2017).

By minimizing the cost (procured materials) and lowering the inventory helps to boost the profit of the company around 6-9% over the year 2015 compared to the last year.

Build a good relationship between the suppliers and stockists especially in Oil-field/MEP sectors and also participated in ADEPEC, INTERSEC & MIDDLE EAST ELECTRICITY exhibitions as a company representative.
