Inspected wind turbine towers (valued at $2M each) for damage and other performance-related issues. Immediately notified appropriate onsite department once issue was identified to make necessary repairs and performed final inspection with client and tower manufacturer representative.

Process Engineer
Performed multiple roles simultaneously, including production, manufacturing, and quality disciplines. Utilized drafting software to design tooling (dies and die tooling) and equipment such as stands, reeling equipment, and “go, no-go” gauges. Implemented Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma strategies. Assisted facility supervisors in driving production performance by producing “how to” instruction manuals for each line, resulting in reduction of scrap during startups.
Key Achievements:
Improved functionality of A-D Technologies’ production lines by engineering out a maintenance team machine set-up that was required for a product change.
Decreased plant down time by enhancing existing tooling cage by cleaning, extending structure, designing storage racks, and organizing all tooling in one place so employees would not need to spend time searching plant for a specific tool.
Created and implemented system using change-out carts to maintain tool condition, organization, and storage. This system also increased each tool’s serviceable life and ensured readiness for floor supervisors and scheduled production changes.
Served as facility’s only engineer.
Developed tooling for “now” products.
Replaced dated production equipment with redesigned and updated models.
