M.Farida Begam, has completed her Ph.D., in Computer Science and Engineering in Bharathidasan University and her thesis is titled "SEALMS - SEMANTICALLY ENHANCED ADAPTIVE LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - AN ONTOLOGY BASED PERSONALIZED WEB SERVICES FRAMEWORK". She received Master’s Degree, M.Tech in Computer Science, from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India. She pursued her Bachelor Degree B.E in Computer Science and Engineering in Bharathidasan University, Trichy. She worked as a Faculty in Higher Colleges of Technology Dubai Women’s College, Adjunct Faculty in Murdoch University, Dubai and as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Engineering and Information Technology, Manipal University Dubai Campus. She has 17+ years of teaching experience in various domains of Information Technology and Computer Science. She had worked in various engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu including National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India. She also worked in Dr Ambedkar Institite of Technolgy in Banagalore. She also has industry experience and worked as a Technical Evangelist in the Education and Research department in Infosys Technologies Ltd. India. She is a Cisco Certified Network associate (CCNA) and handled CCNA training courses. She had worked as a Professor and Head of the Department, Information Technology, M.A.M College of Engineering and Technology, Trichy.
