Photometric Lab Technician/Scheduler/Logistics March 2017- Present

Inspected all the lighting fixtures for over 100 suppliers to ensure no defects prior to product going into production

Maintain tracking of the any defecting parts (replaced or repaired)

Developed and implemented a tracking system so that during the testing phase any fixture could be located

Tracked incoming and outgoing product

Scheduled all product to be tested in the photometric and sphere labs to ensure on time delivery for every fixture using an 8 day lead time

Reevaluate schedule without prior notice several times daily related to unexpected jobs shipping into the area for testing at last minute

Photometrically tests fixtures, and subsequently produces reports and IES formatted files in accordance with accepted IES practices

Provides Sales and Marketing with the technical/engineering information on our products for use in our catalog, technical sheets and web site

Using special-purpose-software performs reflector analysis and overall fixture performance estimates using CAD solid models as a pre-production product development tool

Performs other routine electrical/electronic tests that may be required as part of the recording/reporting process of the photometric test conditions.

Maintains the moving mirror goniophotometer test equipment, meters, etc. and Lab in good working order and within calibration for the purposes of test repeatability, accuracy, etc.
