CLASSES/LABS Reconfigurable Computing Lab - Advanced FPGA topics were explored through assignments that included the whole design flow from system design and modeling to verification. Projects included utilizing an FPGA as a coprocessor for image edge detection and other DSP applications.
Real-time & Embedded Systems - Studied the use of microcontrollers in both bare metal and QNX RTOS embedded systems. Projects included controlling servos in embedded C.
High Performance Architectures - Studied massively parallel processing through CUDA programming on an Nvidia GPU.
Electronics I Lab - MOS circuits including DC biasing, single and multi-stage amplifiers, and current sources were studied through PSpice simulation and breadboard implementation.
Assembly Lab - Embedded fundamentals including I/O programming, interrupts, and device drivers were explored through mixed ARM Cortex M0+ Assembly and C.
Multidisciplinary Senior Design - Worked in a multidisciplinary team to design and create an industrial IoT device to monitor the health of a reciprocating compressor system.
Intro to Software Engineering - A community tool sharing website was designed and built using the Django Python framework in a six-person team.
