Responsible for facility maintenance which has an approx. $350,000 Annual Budget, and a staff of 12.
Responsible for maintenance and operations in a complex chemical and regulatory environment including environmental and safety programs.
Improved rates of fill for adhesive packaging equipment by 50%.
Developed process for filling a non-newtonian liquid adhesive that was sold to Home Depot.

Manufacturing Engineer (2001 –2004)
Managed the introduction of a new composite process used for Lexus and Mazda. Capital budget was approximately $3,000,000. Specified the equipment, planned and managed the installation of equipment, developed assembly methods, assured equipment working as intended, trained hourly associates. Equipment originated from Japan and Sweden.
Programmed robotic water jet cutting cells and programmable logic controllers as required to produce quality products.

Responsible for Plant Environmental Programs:
Developed, implemented, and maintained ISO 14001 program for Amtex Inc. Developed ISO 14001 documents, policies, and procedures. Managed all ISO 14001 audits and certification reviews.
Developed and trained employees to new environmental programs. (Spill Control, Aerosol Cans, Hazardous Waste, Universal Waste, Water)
Managed and wrote Annual Environmental audits for the Amtex Facility.
Completed Amtex Inc.’s “Green Partner” Award Application for Honda of America. Based on this application, Honda chose Amtex Inc. be one of the four recipients of their annual environmental award. Over three hundred Honda suppliers attempted to win this award.
