Dubose Packaging LLC, Mechanical Design Engineer / Technology Support: November 2012 - June 2016

-Architected and implemented applications that integrated Solid Edge APIs to prepare blueprint files and 3D-part files for new projects. These applications eliminated repetitive work and increased productivity by 10%.

-Took initiative to ease the communication between tool repair department and the office by creating a VB.net app that tracked the tool repairs in the shop. This sped up the repair process and saved each employee on average 1 hour a day. The app was welcomed and appreciated by my colleagues and managers.

-Assisted in all phases of the product-development lifecycle, from conceptualizing new product ideas through sketching, creating models, developing engineering designs, prototyping, testing, supporting production and rolling out new and improved products.

-Implemented a sentimental analysis for a given product feature, based on that product’s reviews on Amazon

-Created a visual representation of company density as a function of the company type on top of Google map
