A front-end / UI developer with a taste of design and motion, an entrepreneur constantly making challenges, an autodidact, a perfectionist with ambition greater than anyone.
It has been 14 years since I’ve been working in the Information Technology field in Asia developing and managing web applications, services, systems, and interactive installments. Started as a full-stack developer, and building interactive contents with lots of motion designing involved, these greatly benefited me in developing front-end / user interface.

Lead Front-end Developer / Product Lead (May 2017 ~ July 2017)
•Led the front-end team in renewing the CJ HealthCare website
•Responsive, web-accessible, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) friendly, and cross-browser support all the way down to Internet Explorer 9
•Greatly increased performance by optimizing web fonts
LG Electronics HQ
Lead Front-end Developer (Feb 2016 ~ Nov 2016)
•Used Google Polymer to create a scalable multilingual Single Page Application (SPA) General Procurement System used in LGE subsidiaries worldwide
•Architect the style layout and communication with the back-end (RESTful API)
•Rebuilt the UI components greatly extinguishing from the Polymer preset components for usability and functionality
•Built an HTML based customizable widget dashboard where you can set, move, and resize snapping to set grid width
•Created SVG graphs for real-time supplier bidding using D3
•Designed the wireframe / architecture and built the entire minimized mobile version of the system
•Greatly increased performance by optimizing CSS and javascript (DOM rendering and painting phase)

•System Integration (SI) company consisted of 4 people
•Primarily built offline installments interactive to touch, motion, shape or gesture using infrared light, infrared filters with camera and capture boards to detect the shape and then parse the coordinates which would then be sent to the content using socket communication for interaction
•Used Microsoft PixelSense to create multi-touch contents
•Sold in-house products such as digital ponds with interactive fish, soccer game and such using a projected screen (about 100 ) with the above-mentioned hardware for silhouette detection
•Worked for companies and institutions including Samsung, Korean Army Training Center, KOTRA, KB Kookmin Bank, Nexon, and Southgate shopping center (in Australia)

Lead Interactive developer (Jan 2008 ~ Dec 2010)
•Built custom multi-touch tables (much like MS PixelSense) and installments interactive to sensors, gestures, and physical shapes
•Led teams of developers and designers in projects including Lotte Confectionery Promotion Center, Kazakhstan Astana History Museum, OECD Ministerial Meeting, and much more

•Operated a company for about 2 years managing, leading design and development, selling in-house product, marketing for client works and worked on investment relations pitching and writing white papers
•Managed clients and projects in a very fast-paced environment where work-life balance was severely broken which enhanced my ability to prioritize and solve problems quickly
•Participated in the design concept of one of the largest installment in 2010 Shanghai Expo Korean Business Pavilion composed of 6 connected multi-touchable projected screens about 100 each
•Managed dozens of other projects related to websites and interactive installments

Instead of having a college computer science education, I believed starting my career earlier would much more benefit me and speed things up since I am a fast learner and very good autodidact.
