-Job designation is 12A (Engineer officer). Need to be capable of handling all jobs in the engineer branch including construction, bridging, rescue, demolitions and combat, and training personnel

-As a Platoon Leader, I am in command of a construction platoon with roughly 40 personnel and am responsible for their overall well-being and training to meet the army standard. I will direct them on construction missions to accomplish the task in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER • SRG GLOBAL

SEPTEMBER 2015 – DECEMBER 2015

-Improved flow efficiency of load and unload lines by restructuring packaging flow for higher capability of self service (eliminate waiting time on material handlers). Reduce rack changing times by implementing tools and standard work instructions

-Lead SMED (single minute exchange of dies) team to bring part to part times from 2.5 hours to 1 hour. Generate timeline for effective and immediate results. Gathered footage over 4 full shifts of mold change and developed meaningful data.

-Continuous improvement leader focused on reducing scrap, tact time, and safety. Planned Kaizens and managed projects involving third party resources

-Department representative for all launch activities which involved coordinating department members to meet customer standards

RCG PROGRAM • IAC GROUP • MARCH 2015 – AUGUST 2015

-Two year training program that develops knowledge in all departments by rotating through positions in engineer, operations, materials, quality, human resource, and maintenance.

-Designed five assembly lines incorporating flow efficiency and ergonomics; designed tables for workstation and managed fabrication of tables.

-Conducted time studies to increase visibility on problem areas needing improvement and implement solutions. One study resulted in $70,000 annual saving by identifying overproduction of a part, eliminating an 8 hour shift Monday-Friday

-Temporarily acted as Launch Manager. Duties include coordinating and producing resources necessary such as materials, operators, and timelines. Ensured all paperwork requirements mandated by the customer was completed correctly and all quality requirements met

-Lead SMED initiative. Duties include identifying and coordinating all necessary personnel to support the project, identify areas of improvement and implement permanent solutions while keeping cost low, and motivate team to believe in goal. Results: went from consistent 3 hour part to part to occasional 45-90 minute part to part
