Simulation of clutches

To simulate the cooling capacity of clutches with different groove patterns and then doing temperature mapping.

Worked with PTC- Creo for modeling and LuK package software’s for simulation.

Worked TC and TCC product design and Development.

Performed tests carried on TC’s like DYNO’s, etc. Improving the bonding nature by various surface treatment.

To treat the surface with various surface treatments like sandblasting, Laser etching, cleaning with different solvents and acids to improve the bond strength of an adhesive.

Performed different sandblasting techniques, varies laser power techniques, different solvents and acids on metal surfaces.

Simulation and prediction wear through Finite element methods:

Simulating wear in bearings using ANSYS, and comparing the experimental results and the simulated results. Also developing an equation for prediction of wear.

Worked with PTC Creo, Solidworks, ANSYS and Abaqus.

Worked on contact studies, tribology and become proficient in Finite Element Analysis. Development of Wear resistance coating:

Increasing wear resistance of the bearings by coatings the material with DLC coatings with changing hydrogen content in the formulation of DLC(a-CH:)

Performed surface contact studies, and coatings formulations.

Worked on wear and corrosion testing methods and machines.

Worked with spectroscopies like Raman, SEM, ZYGO, TGA, and DSC. Investigation of piston blow geometry and speed effects in diesel engine using CFD:

Investigating the effect of varying the combustion chamber geometry and engine rotational speed on the gas flow and temperature field, using a new quasi-dimensional engine simulation model in conjunction with an in-house developed computational fluid dynamics (CFD)

Performed CFD and Simulation.

Tribological Performance of Ni-W Coatings using Un-Additive Mineral and Additive Fully-Formulated Lubricants:

Development of NiW coating with varying composition and parameters in coating technique for making more efficient coatings for powertrain applications.

Performed electro coatings and plasma coating technology, Tribo-chemical interactions with surface. Development of a Damper for absorbing machine vibrations:

Design of a damper which absorbs vibration isolations of the machine and protect the industrial platform from damage due to huge vibrations of machine.

Performed calculations of Vibration analysis, Designing vibrations in Creo and Catia. Design, Development and simulation of Self-lubricating bushings:
