Senior Process Technician (2008 05/2017)

Played an instrumental role as technical expert for Photolithography on silicon substrates process. Leveraging certifications in all Lithography production groups in microprocessor manufacturing for 300mm processing. Implemented lean programs with small rapid improvement systems for Litho manufacturing. Partnered with senior engineers and SMEs to coordinate new product tape out, pilot engineering wafer execution, and wafer processing validation solutions.

Process Engineering:

•Providing technical guidance and engineering leadership to 10-member, cross-functional team that sustained 1270 Front-End and Back-End Process. Effectively monitoring non-copper and copper layers through Lithography process.

•Received Lithography Pillar Award for identifying and correcting unnecessary steps in the rework process flow for front- and back-end Lithography layers. Rolled out numerous operational changes to provide lean manufacturing design process improvement and production goals, increasing production capacity and continuous improvement throughout factories.

•Driving day-to-day operations. Efforts include overseeing chart reviews utilizing SPC# and JMP analysis methods, NPI, and Hot Box execution; adhering to documented specs, BKMs, xRFCs; documenting and implementing improvements within the module, training, lot dispositions, layer path management, recipe edits (RCT), tool quals, ROC operating issues, and layer troubleshooting.

•Partnering with multiple development engineering groups and orchestrating development and characterization of robust solutions for R&D needs. Provide quality assurance review and feedback on teamwork and deliverables.

Process Improvements:

•Standardized the proper communication channels and documentation for the new lot disposition criteria (SharePoint and XRFC) which was flagged for all pass-down communications. Implementing Six Sigma methodologies to enhance change management, streamline communications, and optimize process improvement solutions.

•Submitted multiple SRIs for xRFC and BKM improvements. Initiated new xRFCs for other tasks (in process) and proactively edited current BKMs.

•Promoted yield and cost improvement solutions to existing unit processes that were key in delivering highly robust and consistent, high-quality results in collaboration with equipment maintenance and operational organizations.

Quality Control:

•Consistently role modeled safety and quality best practices for the team by utilizing the company’s safety software to minimize occurrences of ergonomic injuries.

•Routinely communicated tool/layer issues to appropriate groups and lock out paths to ensure zero quality misses.

•Leveraging extensive, hands-on photolithography metrology tool and process ownership.

Senior L3 TEL Track Equipment Technician (2000 2008)

Oversaw process flow and tool issues, training/certifying technicians, recipe management, lot and reticle disposition, tool maintenance (preventative and corrective), and tool troubleshooting. Let implementation teams through improving performance on tooling platforms by performing new tooling selection, acceptance, and start-up as well as optimization.

•Trained and certified new team members on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly annual preventative maintenance tasks as documented by Intel engineering. Followed HPM guidelines to ensure consistent quality of work done on toolset.

•Handled troubleshooting and repaired hard down tools on a daily basis; replacing belts on process robot arms, repairing multiple modules throughout toolset, and replaced pincettes, solenoids, resist pumps, developer sensors, and wafer guides.

•Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.

•Proactively observed and listened for any type of tool defect that would cause a quality issue with silicon production.

•Analyzed data in Klarity and SPC++ prior to preventative maintenance to determine level of maintenance required on tools.

•Tracked Certifications: SVG Track 200mm, ACT8 TEL Track, ACT 12 DB TEL Track 300mm, ACT 12 SLM TEL Tracks 300mm, and Lithius TEL track 300mm.

•Performed L2 WIP ops to assess the area and set goals for shift output. Prioritized WIP across fleet to ensure shift output goals were met.
