WORK EXPERIENCE

Application System Engineer: July 2014-2017 May, USDA Contractor, Fort Collins.

Designed, implemented and integrated the prototype of the NSFS project.

Set up the project structure using Apache Maven to structure and build, set up JBoss server, reverse engineered, using ORM tools, from database tables to create back-end entities, designed rest layer to data layer using EJB patterns, setup the integration testing with rest client.

Understand the user requirements, raise issues with current user stories, design and update RESTFUL Webservices end points, resources in REST contract documentation with new requirements. Used Jackson, JAXB and JAX-RS annotation on REST end points.

Design and code for new requirements, write tests using JUNIT and Mockito, generate required sample data, update Oracle and JBoss server setups using Docker, write integration tests, code reviews and finally deploy on JBoss server.

Used Query DSL exclusively for dynamic query for handling pagination, sorting, filtering and active member in Query DSL forum.

Used JMS API for asynchronous communication between our Rest services and Web services.

Worked on larger refactoring stories to satisfy the improved structure of the project and requirements.

Documented and shared information among the team using share point.

Application System Engineer: July 2013-June 2014, USDA Contractor, Fort Collins.

Worked on TOPs redesign project.

Gathered requirements, designed and implemented back-end code. Used Spring frame work, hibernate ORM tool and provided front end with requested data.

Worked on Jasper reports. Configured Tom cat server to communicate with jasper server. Configured a data base for jasper server to produce required reports.

Application developer: August 2011-June 2013, PS Technology, Boulder.

Worked on a Rich Internet Application using Flex as a front end with Cairngorm framework and Java as a back end with Spring framework on Oracle database systems. BlazeDS is used to integrate Flex and Spring. MXML on top of ActionScript 3.0 in Flex.
