Rotating equipment supervisor (January 2014 – August 2017) Key duties include:

Managing all the plant maintenance activities for rotating equipment.

Coordinate with OEM to resolve the problems and enhance the reliability of the equipment.

Involved in root cause failure analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective actions to prevent catastrophic failures.

Prepare specifications and provide technical recommendations for procurement of major equipment.

Provide recommendations on spare parts requirement, to secure the most reliable operation and economic level of maintenance.

Developing work instruction and maintenance procedures for rotating equipment in order to help ensure that standards and regulations are met.

Responsible for the planning and execution of minor & major overhauls on Turbines, Compressors, Pumps and other plant rotating equipment.

Coordinate with Reliable Engineer to resolve the problems and enhance the reliability of the equipment.

Responsible for preparation of bid packages for major overhauls, pre-qualification of contractors, scopes of work and parts requirement. Rotating Equipment Engineer (May 2008 – December 2013) Key duties include:

Performing root cause failure analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent catastrophic failures.

Involved in fault finding and diagnosis of problems affecting plant and systems taking corrective actions to anticipate and prevent downtime.

Prepare new maintenance procedures and work instruction, method statement for new activities and schedule long term activities as per plant shutdown schedules.

Identifying bad actor/poor operating conditions and providing technical advice to Plant operation and maintenance.

Establishment, review and/or re-evaluates “PM” schedules based on manufacturer’s specifications and industry standards for all assigned equipment. Recommend changes

(MOC) when necessarily required.

Planned minor and major rotating equipment inspections and overhauls based on equipment reliability.

Analyzed equipment performance data and interpreted/evaluated testing results.

Technical consultant for planners, maintenance supervisors and operation supervisors in developing methods for maintenance work execution.

Executing preventive, corrective, troubleshooting, annual turn around, shutdown and both major and minor maintenance activities on the various types on mechanical static and rotating plant equipment.

Performing safety check for avoiding breakdowns of equipment and stalling of production.
