Foundry Engineer

Overall responsible for managing production planning and accountable for improving the quality of products & services.

Designing & developing process parameters, testing techniques and design changes to improve the quality of the production tools and reducing rate of rejection & re-work.

Formulating plan for implementing new process concepts for production optimization and develop guidelines for the sequencing of manufacturing activities on the shop floor.

Implementing the system policy & procedures in the organization while outlining the steps to be taken in implementing maintenance program for smooth operations across the unit.

Judiciously deploying resources to optimize yield and achieve production targets within defined time and cost parameters.

Reviewing existing systems & procedures and design internal controls/quality audit checks for various operational areas for achieving higher operational efficiency, resource rationalization and cost reduction.

Ensuring implementation of various management systems such as Safety, 5S, ISO 9001 / 14001 / OHSAS 18001 etc. to meet production targets and product quality and achieve continual improvement.

Participating in quality circle activities and provide useful contribution to the cost saving activity by analyzing and solving some recurring problem of the plant. Attending TPM, ISO meetings & auditing for ISO documentation.

Preparing various reports/sheets like process sheet for each SG casting iron and Rolls, Gray Cast Iron, production schedule, back log report, produced report etc.
