Assistant Maintenance Technician – Hat Island Community Association, Hat Island, Washington
• As Assistant Maintenance Technician I provide various maintenance tasks, repairs and installation for the island and community associated with water lines and water meter installation, street maintenance, and park maintenance. The result of my effort improved leak detection, while reducing overhead costs and added to the comfort and quality of life on the island.
• Interaction with people is part of the daily experience on the island, and it is my task to listen, understand and determine where I can help.

Project Engineer – B/E FSI, Marysville & Everett Washington
• As Project Engineer I provide engineering design and project direction of integration programs with key account customers and aircraft such as; JAL B737, B767, B777 and QANTAS B737-800. My contribution reduced overhead costs associated with design for manufacturing, while satisfying the customer’s expectations.

Contract Project Engineer – Seating Group – Boeing, Everett Washington
• As Project Engineer I specialized in seat design requirements with respect to installation on Boeing aircraft while interacting with customer and listening to their needs and FAA and Boeing compliance requirements to ensure a satisfied customer and program financial expectations. 2002 – Nov 2010
Senior Integration Program Manager – Heath Tecna, Bellingham Washington
● As Senior Integration Program Manager I specialized in requirements to deliver integration programs involving 3rd party vendors relating to Seats, Galleys, Closets, Lavatories, IFE and associated aircraft cabin interior modifications.
● I lead a team of Program Managers to support various customer, regions and product lines while serving as the lead for all program activities associated with the design, manufacture, and delivery of large scale commercial aircraft interior integration programs.
● I was the primary focal point and customer contact from Program launch through final Installation. Including chair of our Program Review Team which consisted of members from; Mfg, Purchasing, Certification, Engineering and Sales.
● I was accountable for program schedule, program budget, scope of work and developed customer goodwill and confidence through regular and frequent communication.
● I coordinated problem-solving activities; analyzed inputs and develop course of action to ensure timely problem resolution.
My contribution as Senior Integration Program Manager included managing multi-million dollar programs that received STCs (Supplemental Type Certificates) on various commercial aircraft. Each of my programs were on time and under budget. The result of my performance I received Customer and Executive staff recognition several times, return business from satisfied Key-Account Customers. Participated in Kaizen activities to ensure design efficiency and performance while reducing overhead. 2001 - 2002
Contract Design Engineer – Raisbeck Commercial Air Group, Seattle Washington
● Re-design responsibility for B767 overhead stowage bin doors and retracting mechanism.
● Design responsibility of manufacturing composite bin end covers for A320 airplanes.
● Design bulletproof of bulkhead and attachment for B737 aircraft including, ballistic testing, flammability testing and mock-up.
This was a crucial time for our country and my contribution enabled Raisbeck to be first to respond to the FAA requirement to incorporate bulletproof doors and bulkheads into commercial aircraft. 1999 - 2001

● Design responsibility for MD80/88/90 bulletproof flight deck doors. Due to the unique bi-folding door on the MD-80 series aircraft, my previous experience with FAA requirements for design of bulletproof flight deck doors was used extensively at AIM to optimize performance and respond to urgent needs of the customer as well as FAA regulations. 1994 -1998
Project Manager – City of Tumwater, Development Services, Tumwater, Washington
● Managed City projects from feasibility to project completion. Projects included residential and commercial structures throughout the city of Tumwater. My contribution to the City of Tumwater was overseeing development within the City and ensuring that the customer understood the development process and that each of their milestones were attained. 1992 -1994 & 1998 -1999
Contract Systems Lead Engineer – Flight Structures Inc., Arlington, Washington
● Layout and design of the B777 Door 3 Crew Rest. Supervision of six engineers for systems design including: main cabin and overhead crew rest air distribution, lav and galley vent system redesign, crew rest PSU design, overhead fan reposition and design.
● Liaison Engineer for manufacturing of overhead crew rest on-site at British Airway Maintenance Center (BAMC) Cardiff Wales, UK.
● Due to the size of the company I also participated in manufacturing panels that were designed 6 months prior.
● Liaison manufacturing engineer during on-site construction of aerospace products. My contribution to the design team at FSI included design from sketch/layout to installation of a self- contained 8-person attendant overhead crew rest. I supervised a 6 design team members that focused on the systems rework and design to install a door 3-crew rest. In addition, once completed, I created the initial layout and design for a Door 1 Flight Deck rest are, which included a shower for the flight crew on extended flights. The crew rest improved flight attendant comfort and customer satisfaction. 1986 - 1992
Contract Design Engineer – Boeing Commercial Airplane Co., Everett & Renton, Washington
● Designed B747, B767 and B777 aircraft interior payload projects including closets, partitions, floor mounted stowages, sidewalls, and PSU arrangements. My contribution to Boeing included dedicated contract design while meeting on-time schedules, performance and budget, using the latest design materials. I received executive recognition from Boeing President Alan Mulally for reducing 13 lbs of weight at a time when 1 lb was worth 250k of fuel spent per year.

Design Engineer – Physio Control, Redmond, Washington
● Designed injection molded components related to LP8 emergency care equipment. My contribution to Physio Control involved state-of-the-art design for emergency care equipment. In addition, I conducted research and design for self-contained portable defibrillators, which improved that are used on aircraft and large meeting facilities today. COLLEGE / AREA of STUDY:
