Mail Order Catalog Retailer Analysis Nov 2016
The goal is to increase revenue per mailed catalog and to select customers to mail the 2010 catalog to, based on their past purchasing behaviors. The catalog example serves a dual purpose; to illustrate predictive modeling and also to highlight the importance of customer relationship management for this type of application.
i) Developed a Predictive model with many deciding variables, historical purchase patterns and behaviors.
ii)Performed a data mining methodology called RFM analysis on CATALOG2010 data set to identify profitable customers for a mail-order catalog retailer.
iii) Implemented Predictive Modeling using Decision Trees and Logistic Regression and Model comparison was used to identify better predictive accuracy.
iv) Performed Market Basket Analysis on various data sets to determine and suggest best possible solutions to close the gaps.

Descriptive Statistics for New York City Vehicle Collisions Nov 2015
In RStudio, we tried to analyze and visualize the data set of New York City vehicle collisions (2012-2015). Cleaned the data by using RDSTK library to get the address based on the latitude and longitude coordinates. Data analysis and visualization has been done based on the contributing factors for accidents like number of accidents across boroughs yearly, annual trends in accidents in each boroughs, number of accidents at a particular time, number of injuries and deaths over the years, most common reasons for the accidents, areas in a particular borough having most accidents.
