Human Resources Manager:

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself both on a personal and professional level. Upon review of the enclosed resume you will find that I have a strong work ethic, a solid skill set, knowledge and a continuing drive to grow, improve and develop with your organization that has demonstrated a high reputation and standing.

I have been successfully employed in the building service industry for over ten years where I have learned how to manage resources, costs and on a timely basis. Throughout this time I have continuously sought out ways to improve. My experience and knowledge ranging from residential to commercial Class A buildings, overseeing various responsibilities from Technology to a variety of mechanical systems and operations.

Before The building service industry, I honed my leadership skills while serving as a Senior Health Care Specialist in the United States Army, which took me to war in the Middle East as a Combat Medic in Operation Iraqi Freedom. This gave me the opportunity to working with diverse groups of people and to understand the importance of being a team player, paying attention to details, briefings and plans to devote long hours to accomplish the assigned task under conditions of extreme stress. Transitioning from Army to civilian life my background and proactive nature have made me able to rapidly understand and to enhance my extensive knowledge in building trades and operations, including the need for efficiency, accuracy, and cost effectiveness. In a short time period I have progressed from concierge in a 264 unit (Class A) luxury building in New York City to Resident Manger of a luxury Residential Co-op, supervising a building and maintenance staff of 14 with hands on responsibility for all building systems. My broad experience and continuous professional education are valuable assets, which I would like to continue to grow as part of the organizations ‘team.

I look forward to hearing from you and scheduling an interview in the near future. Please feel free to contact me via email ********@****.*** or by phone 917 439- 5502 to schedule an interview. References both employment and personal will be provided upon request.

Thank you for your consideration.

Beat Regards,

Thor Swetnam
