Greenfield project to construct a Starbucks processing plant. Scope of work was civil work, including clearing of land, grading, paving, concrete work, structural, electrical, erection of buildings, boilers, tanks etc. This was a multi-tiered project with several subcontractors. Duties included orientations, inspections, audits, technical and advisory safety support. Insured regulatory compliance in all aspects of the project including Safety and Environmental. July 2011 to August 2011, Temporary Site Safety Director Oversaw safety for Electrical Contractor for Line 4 (a Kaolin Product Processing Facility). Fisher Tank Company, Prairie States Generating Campus, (Lively Oak), Marissa, IL

July 2010 to July 2011, Site EHS Manager and Acting Site Manager

The project consisted of the erection of 26 tanks and 2 Absorbers. Oversaw construction, installation of agitators, launders and coatings. Acted as liaison with client (Bechtel) and providing smooth resolution to production, scheduling and contract issues. Craft included Boilermakers, Millwrights, Laborers and Painters. Conducted JSA’s, site inspections, safety audits, IH testing and meetings. Administer the site Safety, Chemical Control Program, and Environmental. Conducted all training and reporting requirements.

Fisher Tank Company, Bear Garden Generating Station, New Canton, VA

January 2010 to July 2010, Site EHS Manager

Project consisted of constructing five tanks and a clarifier. Responsible for multiple crews involved in various stages of construction. Duties include orientations, training, record keeping, inspections, audits, first aid and insuring compliance to regulatory, environmental and site rules. Interfaced with Fluor and Dominion Power for smooth resolution to field issues. Prepared and submitted reports, developed site specific Job Hazard Analysis and any site specific documents. Was acting Site Manager in the Site Manager’s absence.

The Bluegrass Chemical Agent Pilot Destruction Program/ Project was to construct a facility that destroys chemical weapons. Two large tanks were erected to interface with reciprocal systems. Wrote all JHA’s, inspections, safety meetings, compliance to Site Safety and Environmental regulations and policies. (OSHA, EM-385-1 and Bechtel Core Processes.) Oversaw contractors (Insulators, Boilermakers and Painters). Conduct audits, regular inspections, training and interface with client and Army Corp of Engineers.
