Implemented four major applications in 5 months. Cloud Based applications ranged from collecting the information for a completed LifeLine application to getting necessary approvals. This included ensuring all federal and state regulations and all PII regulations and guidelines are observed.

Managed the consolidation of two case management systems. Worked with Global legal teams to determine how to best utilize the application to meet their needs and kept focus on the priorities.

Selected by CIO to take over troubled Global ERP implementation. This project was behind schedule and had multiple problems ranging from overall design to involvement of the Business Owners.

Implemented proper project oversight introducing regular status and steering committee meetings, reviewing project status, issues and risks, budget and revised process. The delay has been reduced by 40%.

Reviewed planned architecture of the business application including the infrastructure, technology and business process perspective. Introduced Business Owners into the process to ensure the system will meet their needs and allow for future growth. Coordinated integration points and data architecture of related systems with those teams to determine impact on testing and roll out schedules.

SOLIX • Parsippany, NJ 2015 -2016

Solix is a provider of social services eligibility determination for LifeLine programs designed to assist underprivileged communities gain access to basic services. Solix provides qualification program management and customer care services to government, telecommunications, broadband, utility, disaster recovery and healthcare organizations. This includes all functions from taking applications from individuals to approving and filing necessary invoicing information to the appropriate government agencies.

Sr. Director – Client Delivery and Application Support (Contract position)

Managed legacy application development efforts and client interactions. Led a staff of business analysts, development and production support team members.

Managing the client interaction and application development efforts. Taking responsibility for a staff of 70 development, infrastructure and production support team members, reducing the team by 4 because of cross team collaboration. Prioritized the design, development and testing efforts around system enhancements including infrastructure and regular releases to production. Managed workload and deliverables to meet all deadlines for both client and internal needed enhancements.

Worked with client executives to understand business strategies and convert strategies to business processes and requirements. Determined ROI to gain approval. Spearheaded implementation and change management processes while managing initiatives to successful results.

Implemented four major cloud based applications in five months. SOFTCARD • New York, NY + Basking Ridge, NJ 2012-2015

Softcard, a joint venture of AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless, developed an open and comprehensive mobile commerce platform utilizing near field communication (NFC) technology that was acquired by Google, Inc. The Softcard product was rebranded and released as GooglePay.

Process Improvement Director (2014-2015)

Led business process analysis, change management, performance management, and cost reduction strategies. Utilizing a Six Sigma approach, leveraged business process reengineering and improvement methods to align organizational structure and improve operations. Assessed existing processes, uncovered issues, and proactively addressed design flaws. Established key stakeholder partnerships to gain buy in for recommended ideas.

Restructured the user experience as part of redesigning an app to execute online payments. Collaborated with partners and technology teams to extract and analyze data to identify process improvements, successfully reducing download time from 8 minutes to approximately 3 minutes, exceeding the goal of cutting the time in half. As a result, the number of wallets being installed and used increased by 34%.

Advised C-level leadership in connection with system access issues. Recommended go and no-go decisions on projects subsequent to delivering data and associated analysis that supported findings.

Director, Relationship Management (2012-2014)

Project managed issues in collaboration with Verizon’s technology team to ensure project plans were integrated for app pilot and national launch. Partnered with Softcard and Verizon executives to ensure timeliness and effectiveness of new releases. Managed day-to-day operations issues, including conducting root cause analysis and defining resolutions of issues.

Developed key performance indicators (KPIs) to understand wallet failure issues, which resulted in an increase in success rate from 86% to 97%. Created management reports highlighting success and fail rate.

Negotiated an Operating Agreement and Service Level Agreement among 4 organizations with competing priorities and anti-trust implications.

Managed relationships between various project sponsors to allow Softcard to reach the Pilot and National Launch. Managed multiple issues impacting technical and business drivers and involving all partners (Cell Phone Carriers, Payment Networks, Card Issuers and Softcard) to conclusion. Project managed development efforts for a medical leave management services provider utilizing RUP methodology for software development lifecycle (SDLC), including defining requirements including HIPAA, managing development in .Net, reviewing deliverables, performing quality control checks, user acceptance testing, and overseeing delivery.

Architected and implemented a Business Intelligence system. The existing core business system allowed for little end user reporting. The BI System receives nightly feeds of data into a Microsoft SQL server Database.

Supported the Peoplesoft Financials, HRMS and Hyperion Essbase applications. Implemented the SAP Data Warehouse for the circulation department.

Designed, developed and implemented a Freelance Administration System for use by the newsrooms of the NY Times, Boston Globe, The International Herald Tribune and the Regional Newspaper Group. This application included instituting consistent controls around the entire process of contract negotiation to assignment to payment of freelancers.
