I am employees of Royal Institute of Management, Thimphu BHUTAN working as Sr. Technical Associates for the last 15 years. I did Diploma in Information Management System in the year 2000-2002 and Bachelor in computer application in the year 2009- 20012.

It has been most challenging and rewarding experience for me to work in the Institute. In terms of work competency, I picked up much of the practical skills required for maintaining network, web development and repairing computer hardware out of my own initiative and interests. I am quite conversant with Network Administration, Web application Development, Hardware and Troubleshooting and in a position to take any responsibilities in these fields independently.

Following are some of my current job responsibility: Network & IT support Services:

• Servers monitoring, Troubleshooting Network Connectivity and monitoring Unified Threat & Bandwidth Management (Cyberoam)

• Regular monitor the network Traffic, usage and performance.

• Implementation of latest network security architectures and technologies.

• Coordinate the delivery of IT security awareness for faculty & staff of Institute

• Installation &Troubleshooting of wireless access point as and when required

• Regular troubleshooting and maintenance of the network security. Installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing applicable software, hardware and peripherals.

• Configuration & Installation of new servers when there is breakage of existing one.

• Support service for usage of RIM Learning Management System (Moodle) to the faculty & student.

• Determine appropriate architecture, topology, and transmission requirements for installing voice, video applications and e-learning for the trainees in the institute and monitoring Closed-circuit television (CCTV) in the lab, library and Multi-purpose Hall.

Application Development:

• Development of web-based application to keep the track of student bio- data of the institute (Student Information system) Other Administration Related Task

• Orientation for new student regarding the usage & ICT facility available in the institute

• Invigilation of Term Examination of all the courses and member of marketing team of the institute.

• Coordinating, conducting and invigilation of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
