50.88% reduction in recordable injuries and a $350K reduction in incurred losses due to a focused approach to safety that combined both the reduction of high risk activities as well increased plant engagement through safety committees, planned maintenance, and 5S.

Initiated a capital project planning program that culminated in a project plan going forward 4 years. The 2016 plan of over $3.5MM in projects resulted in a 2.6 yr. payback. The 2017 plan of $2.5MM in projects has a payback of 2.4 yrs. with 81% as savings projects, 10% repair and replacement, 4% regulatory, and 5% safety focused.

Managed the turnaround of a full roll production line that included a new mixer with a glycol system, dough chunker and auto delivery system, Koenig molding line, proof box automation, oven throughput enhancements, depanner with new discharge conveyors, and a Lematic auto load packaging line. The resulting modification raised the production rate by 60% on hamburger and hot dogs.

Guided the development and rollout of five organic products in a facility that had not previously produced organic products.

Maintained SQF level 2 certifications in each of the bakeries with all achieving 93% or higher scores over the last year.

Total cost per lb. decreased by 8% vs. prior yr. with over $1MM coming from material usage savings. Conversion cost decreased by 10.7% vs. prior yr.
