Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the Management and Implementation on Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Program.
Be responsible for the implementation of all aspects of incident prevention, loss control program, fire prevention and motor fleet incident prevention, control of equipment and property damages as well as first aid policies and procedures.
Trained and Advised Management on the following:
Ways to improve existing work methods equipment from safety.
Suitability of new hired safety viewpoint.
Changes on safety requirement.
Potential hazards on new contracts before work starts.
Safety organization and fire prevention plans of the project.
Work permits if necessary.
Suitable security program.
Recommend corrective actions through pro-active job supervision initiate the cessation of work if a safe areas where there is eminent danger and stipulate necessary measure to take, to the permit resumption of work.
Carry out site surveys to see it that only safe work methods are in operation, that health and safety requirements are being observe and that the welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and properly maintained.
Foster within the company and understanding that the prevention of injury and damage control are an integral part of the business and operational efficiency.
Inspect the worksite daily. Report and correct unsafe acts and conditions.
Prepare Job Hazard and Risk Assessment.
Conduct accident investigation, analyze and formulate recommendations for corrective and prevention actions.
Conduct daily surveys of construction operations to ensure compliance with client/government safety standards and regulations. Identify safety defects and initiate corrective measure by responsible supervision.
Keep up to date with recommended code of safety practices and safety literature. Disseminate applicable information to all levels of work force.
Assist the project on proper implementation on company monthly/yearly HSE objective and quality management program.
Regularly attend and participate on weekly/monthly HSE group meeting together with respective department head
