Interface with MD, with Pharmacy, medications to client. Client and family teaching on medication, dosage, safety and side effects. As per MD orders draw blood, swab wounds and take specimen to lab. Make entries into clients’ charts. Inform Charge Nurse as per changes. Other duties as necessary.

LVN Home Health Nurse, Del Cielo Home Care. Corpus Christi, Texas (December 2008- July 2010)

Client’s Home visit. Check blood sugar, monitor vital signs, general health and welfare of clients. Interfacing with MD office, taking or changing orders as per MD instructions. Reporting to Head Nurse of changes, reporting to Pharmacy of changes, and getting ordered medications to clients. Drawing labs, taking specimens, dressing change, entries into client’s chart, patient teaching and any other duties as required.
