My work experience as a consultant and as a manager has given me a vast experience in business. I am looking for a company where I can give a long-term commitment and where my honesty and loyalty will be appreciated.

I have been in sales and marketing, more specifically the Optical industry, for over thirty years. My experience ranges from being an optician, marketing / sales consultant, as well as international sales in Mexico City/South America and a District Sales Manager. I have experience in monitoring a large budget, hiring and training new consultants, encouraging a team atmosphere and a positive work environment; I have also been able to utilize my bilingual abilities, negotiating and selling to customers, and present seminars to optometrist in Mexico City. My hard work ethic and ability to motivate and guide, is an essential quality in management.

I was hired to start a new territory for Precision in Los Angeles, I was promoted a year after my hire to Sales and Marketing Manager. I was able to develop a brand new territory that produces an average of $35,000.00 monthly. I was able to accomplish this within a little over a two year period.

Reason for leaving was Precision was purchased by Essilor Labs of America and they decided to maintain the business with their own existing lab representatives

06/10-02/13 Territory Manager:

Hoya San Diego,

I covered a territory that had not produced an increase in over two years, my final year I was 25% above my forecast, I was hired my Lisa Lingard, Lisa was the Regional Manager for Hoya

06/08-05/10 Territory Manager:

Carl Zeiss/Sola San Diego,

I was covering the Los Angeles Territory; I was hired by Nancy Roquie. I covered a much smaller territory; this was a completely different company from my first experience. Nancy resigned two months after she hired me. Despite the changes I was able to increase the territory consistently by an average of 5%

02/04-05/08 Strategic Account Manager:

Essilor of America, Independent Distribution Division

I was in charge of call on account for California, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and Colorado. This was my second tour with Essilor however I was working for a new division. I called on Integrated Optometrist and Optical Retailers. I was able to grow this territory consistently and my final year I was number one overall the other Strategic Account Representatives.

10/98 – 01/04 Carl Zeiss inc., Chester, VA

I am the first Zeiss representative in this territory which consists of Los Angeles, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Mexico. I am responsible for developing and growing an account base, conduct seminars, staff training, and provide technical support.

09/01 – 11/01 Sales Consultant:

Envia Vision, San Diego, CA

First consultant in the Los Angeles territory for this brand new company which carried an exclusive product. Created and grew an account base.

8/90 – 10/98 District Sales Manager:

I have also worked for the marketing a Brand Product (Varilux, Zeiss, and Hoya) selling this specific brands to contract labs as well as ELoA (Essilor Lab of America) Zeiss Labs and Hoya Labs throughout the country.
