Functions as a Special Investigator for the National Background Investigations Bureau (NBIB) and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) responsible for scoping and briefing casework to determine areas of investigative coverage required in accordance with applicable directives and investigative standards for all laws, and other required federal agency regulations for approximately 50 Government agencies having some of the nation' s most sensitive missions.
Completes record searches, conducts face-to-face interviews to elicit information about applicants seeking federal, executive and contract positions or positions within the military. Works cases throughout the geographic area of responsibility by car or by plane and travel to various places of employment, residence, law enforcement, court house, medical facilities and education institutions.
Obtains factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation, containing all pertinent facts, of an individual’s background and character, in accordance with agency guidelines and instruction.
Serves as Project Manager for 20 to 25 cases per month. Possesses a strong work ethic, impeccable integrity, and a passion to support national security initiatives. Works independently with little oversight. Completed the six-week National Investigator Training (NIT).

Prepares requests for scheduling extensions, adding and updating items cancelling and discontinuing of investigations consistent with policies, procedures and relevant information that the receiving investigator must have to conduct a competent investigation; contained in the Investigator’s Handbook in order to prepare factual (ROI) report.

Served as the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) coordinator for MacDill USCENTRAL COMMAND consisting of over 1700 personnel. Designated organization Government Purchase Card holder. Reviewed and reconciled acquisitions with the government purchase card through the Access Online accounting system. Oversaw the Procurement, Maintenance, Reporting, Utilization, Invoicing, and Turn-In of the leased Vehicle Fleet. Supervised the receipt, issue, inspection, inventory, segregation, storage, disposal, delivery and turn in of organization and installation supplies, materials and equipment. Prepared and reconciled all organizational supply and Property Book documentation in the Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) system. Flawlessly managed the Company’s Hand Receipts, Sensitive and Cyclic Inventories consisting of 13 hand receipts and filled critical MTOE shortages to allow Units to operate at 100%. Operated and maintained automated supply systems, which accurately accounted for over $1,300,000 of government furnished property.
Added over 3,260 serial numbered end items to the organization property book during a six-month period without discrepancies. Procured shortage items identified as mission critical. Responsible for physical security of small arms, weapons, repair parts and ammunition storage facilities.
