Objective: To secure a position that allows me to apply my experience in a career that I can use my abilities in operations and logistical skills, inventory control, warehouse management, shipping/receiving, customer service, and purchasing skills in a professional work environment with the opportunity for advancement.
Experience:
10/14 – 08/17 GBS Enterprises Pooler, GA
Operation Manager: Manage warehouse personnel and temp workers to make sure all logistical needs are completed daily and done correctly, manage inventory levels and re-order stock when needed using Sage AccPac WMS system for both of our locations, handle hiring and disciplinary actions for the Pooler warehouse, train employees in day to day activities, manage time cards for GBS employees and temp agency employees, show good leadership by leading by example, maintain a safe work environment, and anything else that may be asked of me to do.
Accomplishments: Use the Sage AccPac WMS system to place orders for the whole company. Self-taught myself on how to use most of the features by taking initiative and looking up videos and manuals in my own time to learn as much as possible. Opened two brand new warehouses in Pooler and one in Reno, NV. Created new and more efficient ways to accomplish the tasks I was assigned when I was promoted from Warehouse Manager to Operations Manager. Developed spreadsheets to help with day to day activities that anyone can use with little to no help. Trained two warehouse managers with little to no experience in the logistical business for them to run the two warehouses self-sufficiently using the WMS system and managing employees, so that they do not need to lean on me very much for help. I am always available to help them when needed though.
