Developed an integrated project schedule to track new runway 9C/27C, Navigational Aids decommissioning activities, airspace changes, facility LOA’s (Letter of Agreement), SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) changes, air traffic controller training, Safety Risk Analysis and Charting/Publications.

Applied project management techniques and tools such as earned value management to determine project performance and variance. Used Gantt charts, PERT charts, milestone charts and earned value management to determine project progress and reported to senior leadership.

Brought two facilities with different engineering cultures and methods to a new common FAA-compliant quality system. Work included bridging difficult inter-department politics and resolving numerous process and workflow issues, all while motivating staff primarily by influence, due to the roles involved.

Designed project budget for $1M South Suburban Feasibility project budget consists of feasibility analysis plan, simulation and modeling cost, resource travel and overtime costs. Traveled to McLean Virginia, and Washington DC for this project for analysis, requirements, and simulation modeling work.

Led projects through entire project development life cycle to develop application-specific systems capable of meeting current and long-range corporate information management requirements. Produced and managed deliverable through formal project plans. Developed project charter, communication management plan, project management plan budget for Chicago Airspace Project Stage III Airspace Redesign and Modeling/Simulation activities.

Developed a feasibility analysis report for South Suburban Airport (Peotone, IL) for feasibility assessment study. 3/2011- 5/2014 Chicago Airspace Project- Sr. IT Technical Analyst

Developed/Managed an integrated project schedules for Chicago Airspace Project, a $10 + Billion, 10 year, multistage project encompassing Airspace changes, procedure development, sector designing, route designing, publication and training equipment installation for new Air Traffic Control Towers (ATCT), IT equipment requirements, navigational aids equipment required for new runways, budget submissions.

Managed $5M budget and coordinated project plan and implementation of Chicago Airspace Project Stage III design work and implementation. Constructed /maintained Chicago Airspace Project schedules for Stage III, and Stage II correction, to track airspace changes, procedures, and implementation activities (procedures development, publication, User briefings, Safety Risk Analysis, and training).

Evaluated and defined process, tools methods, and critical success factors impacting processes. Calculated ROIs, recommended and prepared justification for $1M budget for airspace redesign and Air Traffic equipment requirements.

Coordinated in conjunction with the FAA lines of business, headquarters, facilities and Service Areas to mitigate solutions for project issues.
