Professional Experience

PRESENT, AUGUST- 2017 - J&J Worldwide Services -Project Manager -. Ft. Stewart and Ft. Gordon Ga. Responsible for task order execution on facility contracts and awarded projects. Supervise and manage subcontractors work, quality control and safety plan implementation, scheduling, project coordination, reporting, and administrative functions. Duties performed also include attending site visits, assisting in development of work plans and price proposals, submittals and schedules for task order projects, project problem resolution, client liaison and project close out.

December 2016 to August 2017 – Tesla Motors – MEP Superintendent - Supervised subcontractors to ensure accuracy and completion of work of a $400,000,000. project. Review and analyze site plans and blueprints in order to ensure compliance with specifications. Control production costs through review and approval of production and service invoices, delivery, and inspection sheets; monitored and track costs. Inspect site (2.6 mil sq. ft.) daily to ensure quality control and to monitor progress to keep each job on schedule. Acted as liaison between operations, subcontractors and vendors. Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports and generate, direct and track RFIs.

August 2015 to December 2016 - PlanNet Design and Construction - Quality Assurance Auditor Boydton, VA for Critical Mission 80 MW Microsoft Data Center build. Served as a subject matter expert to integrate prime power 13.8 KV to onsite power for the data center. Audited testing procedures and Field Witness Testing for prime and reserve electrical gear coming to the site for installation. Monitored site installation practices and performed inspections per client specifications and Uniform Codes. We served in this capacity since there was not AHJ to perform this task. All work in progress and final acceptance inspections were recorded on various software programs such as Latista, Prolog, and customer proprietary Visual Design Construction for the record. Performed QA on CSA, mechanical, and telecom installations as well. Worked with the GC to correct and coordinate smooth final acceptance of work to keep schedule commitments.

July 2014 to August 2015 - J&J Worldwide Services - Project Manager - Ft. Stewart and Ft. Gordon Ga. Responsible for task order execution on facility contracts and awarded projects. Supervise and manage subcontractors work, quality control and safety plan implementation, scheduling, project coordination, reporting, and administrative functions. Duties performed also include attending site visits, assisting in development of work plans and price proposals, submittals and schedules for task order projects, project problem resolution, client liaison and project close out. As required, serves as Site CQC Officer and Site Safety Officer on selected task orders. Projects managed during this timeframe have been renovating an occupied Psychiatric Ward at Ft. Stewart ($789K). Currently working a complete Fire Alarm Mass Notification installation for Ft. Stewart’s main hospital ($3.2M) and a Medical Clinic full renovation ($9.3M) at Ft. Gordon.

December 2010 to July 2013 - International Electric Inc - Regional Manager / Superintendent, Shawnee, KS. Responsible for; management process, construction quality control and safety accident prevention. Updated schedules, management of budgets, coordination of supervisors centered to coincide with a scheduled completion date, preparing activity hazard analysis, submittal processes and ensure all testing is performed in accordance with specifications. Coordination and management of partnering subcontractors, daily reports, and bi-weekly progress reports, management of as-built drawings, review and certification of revisions to plans and specifications, selection and acceptance of bids. Completed projects at Ft. Jackson to include completing the AIT Barracks Complex.

February 2007-December 2010 - Verizon Data Center Cincinnati, Ohio. / Verizon Data Center Mililani, Hawaii/Verizon Switch Gear Station, Sarasota Florida Project Manager/Quality Control - Responsible tasks included but not limited to management process, construction quality control and safety accident prevention. All aspects of managing site subcontractors and conducted safety meetings.

November 1986 to February 2007 - South Carolina Electric & Gas - Foreman and Journey Lineman Columbia, SC. Initially hired in as a journey lineman and progressed to Foreman within the organization. Responsible for installation, testing and certification of all electrical and communication systems completed. Work included underground and above ground systems from low voltage to high voltage aerial lines throughout the state of SC to include residential, commercial and industrial complexes. Completed all projects from support, emergency systems and fiber optics. One of our major contracts was continual support of Medical systems and Maintenance and Repair for Baptist Medical Hospital in Cola SC from 2000 through 2007.
