Implementation lead for company initially for ASK ManMan and then MAPICS XA ERP Operating systems
Responsible for the areas of Operations, Supply Chain/Purchasing, Production Control, Quality, Shipping/Receiving, Capacity Planning and all warehouse functions at two facilities. This was a total reconstruction of all systems from ground up.
Upon joining the Company I was tasked with implementing a Lean Operations Strategy for all areas within a 9-month period. Goal was met along with attaining lower inventory levels, $300,000 favorable PPV, reducing factory variances by 98%, and reducing average product lead-time by over 75%
This Lean Implementation resulted in a National Award from Mass MEP and AME

Lead facilitator for the company in an implementation of MAPICS XA ERP system. I coordinated all training for the company and was responsible for the budget and time table of the implementation.

Materials Manager
Hired as Materials Manager for Newton manufacturing facility of electronic and electro-mechanical switches. Original responsibilities were for Inventory/Production Planning, Purchasing, and Shipping/Receiving. After superior performance to established goals I assumed the additional responsibilities of Logistics/Traffic, Total Supply Chain, On Site Customer Service, Capacity Planning and Forecasting. All this was accomplished during a 50% increase in anticipated sales.
Special Accomplishments included the implementation of Lean Mfg. practices while meeting increasing sales volume. Also was the lead in implementing a Supply Chain for the Costa Rica facility that fed off of the North American Supply Chain.
Was the Lead facilitator for the installation of SAP as the Operating System.
Was chosen to create and execute a training program for all Materials personnel at the Costa Rica manufacturing facility. Completed and successful in cutting past due customer orders by 50%. All Mfg. later transferred to this facility.

Promoted to position responsible for Materials, Forecasting, Supply Chain, Production/Inventory Control, Shipping/Receiving, Cycle Counting, and all Finishing Production Operations at the facility. Was responsible for all sourcing areas including foreign sourcing for PFR materials from the Pacific Rim. Was the Lead on an installation of Oracle from SAP
All products at the facility (150,000 sq./ft.) were made from raw strip metal. These various steels and specialized alloys were scheduled throughout the entire production process by my reports.
Materials Manager
Responsible for re-implementation of ASK MRP II System and construction of entire Materials and Supply Chain operating systems. Later led company implementation of SAP.
Forecasting software was purchased at this time and an S&OP system was created by myself and implemented.

Product manufactured at these facilities was 100% for the Automotive Industry. We were Tier One suppliers to Ford, GM, and Chrysler. High expectations for cost, quality, and delivery were expected at all times.
Created all Materials, Master Scheduling, Planning, Purchasing, and Logistical functions for a start-up Manufacturing facility using ASK MANMAN manufacturing electronic and electro-mechanical switches - use of 6 Sigma principles was utilized in this facility by my group.
