- Created Unit and String test cases documents for the Financial Reporting System being presented to the State of North Carolina. Provided extensive hands-on analysis in the field and file expansive in an environment using COBOL II, CICS, DB2, SQL, VSAM, MVS/JCL, MVS/XA and TSO/ISPF. In this project my role was to identify elements and programs that will be effected with a fields expansion in several of their Production VSAM file. EDS – Electronic Data System

- Provided analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and implementation of NCPDP v5.1 Prior Authorization Transaction Segment for CALPOS using COBOL II, COBOL 390, ORACLE, MVS/JCL, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, MVS/XA, MQ Series and CICS. I participated in creating the (SFD) System Functional Design document and the (TSD) Technical System Design document for the State of California Health Department, and EDS’s staff. The NCPDP v5.1 Prior Authorization Transaction System was based on the existing Pharmacy Claims System. Prior Authorization segments were passed from the IBM mainframe using CICS Socket to the ORACLE SURGE Database. Also was involved with the Product Delivery team making several fixes to support the real time Pharmacy Claim System.

- This project involved a working knowledge of NCPDP v5.1 data requirements, which outlined required and optional data for a Prior Authorization transaction segment type. Data was mapped according to the SURGE Database which processed TARs coming from the IBM mainframe.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan

- Provided analysis, coding, testing, and implementation of major/minor program enhancements using COBOL II, COBOL 390, DB2, MVS/JCL, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, MVS/XA and CICS. Also made enhancement to an in-house Medicaid healthcare system and assisted with supporting the HIPAA for the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Main focus was working with Claims-837, Claim Payments and RemittanceAdvice-835.
