As a volunteer I have learned to use Wordpress and Drupal tools to perform Web Development and Content Management for non-profits COHHO.org, FriendshipPlace.org, SOME.org and also HolyFamilyParishMD.org. I also sit on the Executive Board of Directors at Friendship Place, and the Executive Parish Counsel at Holy Family Church.

SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
I applied technical solutions for the integration, maintenance and operation of K-12 Student Information on the IBM Mainframe. I applied quality assurance procedures to reconcile the mainframe K-12 SIS to the school based server systems and provide information services such as county, state and federal reporting. Applied complex concepts to connect multiple databases i.e. FCPS and VA State to qualify student and parent information
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
Evaluated and modified the COBOL source code, JCL, Oracle Database and VSAM file structure to accomplish new policy requirement. Integrated new health testing and immunization policy requirements into the health maintenance and reporting system on the mainframe database and software.
I was selected to the Support the Mission, team, which reported directly to the Superintendent with District Operation and Budget alternative. Created Custom Reports and User Interface for Librarians to the Library system

PROJECT MANAGER/TECHNICAL CONSULTANT
I functioned as for a Systems Analysis of a major HR application. Designed and modernized data structures and components for the application. Disaster Recovery planning execution and verification. Software and data file identification, targeting and selection of backup/recovery procedures to accomplish Disaster Recovery.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
At State Dept. applied business process re-engineering methodology to analyze and evaluate the functionality of legacy COBOL and JCL and produce detail specifications for Client\Server based replacement.
At AT&T I coordinated a team to develop and implement the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP & DRP) Plans. Coordinated Successful DR Exercise to include mainframe COBOL, VSAM files and DB2 databases. Extensive use of Mainframe JCL and Utilities (IDCAM, ABARS and DB2 Replication) were employed to capture COBOL source, object and executable libraries and databases.

These mainframe based accounting systems are written in COBOL on VSAM files accessed via CICS and services using batch JCL. I was selected to install, implement and manage the transition of the Central Accounting System from the in-house created software to the vendor's COTS. Authored system operations manual and provided on-site operator and end user training.
