PG TRAINING:
L&T INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS LIMITED, CHENNAI has provided summer training for one month. In training get to know that geometric design standards of the roads (IRC: 73 1980) and also gain basic knowledge about MX Road Software.
UG TRAINING:
WALAMTARI, HYDERABAD given an opportunity to work in the irrigation department for a period of two months. Project was Demarcation of WUA Boundaries along with TC’s using the Geo-Spatial Technologies. For that used open source software i.e. QGIS (Quantum GIS) and to mark the TC’s and WUA (Water User’s Association) on the Google or Bing Maps which are called as a digitized map of WUA useful for farmers for effective utilization of water which is coming under the canal system and also helpful to the Irrigation department.
PG PROJECT WORK:
MOBILITY OF PARA-TRANSIT SYSTEM IN TIRUCHIRAPPALLI CITY, intention of the project is to understand the demand profile of the auto rickshaws and share autos. For further studies collected data of auto rickshaw stands and Share auto stands showed in the form of attributes and maps by using QGIS. UG PROJECT WORK:
COMPARATIVE STUDY OF TAMMILERU RESERVOIR, objective of this project was to checkout reservoir area because present scenario farmers are doing cultivation in the reservoir area. For that collected the data from different sources like Irrigation department and survey of India and gps data these can be helpful in the identification of boundaries of reservoir by using the Geographic Information System software
(QGIS). Finally generated the updates present area of the reservoir. AREAS OF INTERESTS
