PROJECTS:

“A Study of Friction Behavior On Piston Skirt Profile” June 2017-July 2017

The project was carried out on the friction performance results for various types of piston skirt profile.

The project dealt with the friction reduction technique and oil lubrication pattern for every engine stroke by observing the piston skirt movement.

The friction and noise performance of each piston skirt profile was rated with the conventional profile and determined the cause and mechanism to reduce friction.

“Dynamic Analysis of Solar Power Watch” Apr. 2017- June 2017

Current sun oriented watches utilize Lithium-particle rechargeable batteries which don't experience the ill effects of the standard charge/release weakening of ordinary rechargeable batteries and are expected to last the lifetime of the watch.

The project broadly describe, operating mechanism of solar power watches, movement and dynamic analysis of day and date system.

“NDT (Non Destructive Testing)” Aug. 2016-Dec. 2016

The material and its surface analysis were done in that project using different NDT techniques.

The project was done using radiographic testing and eddy current testing without damaging the material and characterized the surface roughness using parameters.

“Analytical Solution for a Pressurized Thick-Walled Spherical Shell Based on a Simplified Strain Gradient Elasticity Theory” Sep. 2016-Nov. 2016

The numerical results show that the magnitudes of both radial and tangential stress, given by strain gradient solution are smaller than those given by Lame’s classical elasticity solution.

Hence, the project concludes that the magnitudes of stresses for thick wall shaped spherical shell significantly depend on micro structural effects of material.

“Performance Analysis of Power Cycles Using Cycle Pad” Jan. 2015-May 2015

Comparison of thermal efficiency and mechanical efficiency.

Theoretical analysis of various power cycles using cycle pad under ideal and critical condition.

Also measured the brake power of the power cycles using different dynamometer.

“Modification in I.C. Engine Parts” June 2012- July 2013

Performed six modifications in engine parts including: Flywheel, Fuel Injectors, Oil Cooler, Throttle passage, EGR (Exhaust gas recirculation) valve, and ignition System in order to improve the torque of the engine.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Programming and Analysis Software: C, C++, MATLAB and SolidWorks. CAD/CAM: AutoCAD (Autodesk certified), CNC Programming.

-Working proficiency of MS-Office (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint)

-Finite Element Analysis, Citadon and Pacesetter.
